Surrounded by quaint towns and villages, Slaley has its own unique charm. Located just outside of Hexham, it offers a wealth of country activities from golfing and quad biking, to kayak trips along the coastline to horseback riding along sandy beaches. The region also hosts a number of eclectic festivals and cultural events, alongside fine dining experiences to impress the most passionate of foodies. For those looking to unwind and relax after a long day exploring the region has some acclaimed country pubs serving local ales and local produce next to a roaring fire.
